A horse racing betting bot that bets into your own accounts
Classic Racing is a strategy in B337, software you run on your own computer. Close to the jump it compares each bookmaker's win price with the Betfair price, and places a bet only where the edge you set is met. Thoroughbreds, harness and greyhounds.
Betting involves risk. Bookmakers can restrict or close accounts and void bets, automation can fail, prices move, and a positive expected value (+EV) bet can still lose. Promotions carry each bookmaker's own terms. There is no guarantee of profit. See responsible gambling for limits and support.
The next races on the board
Live from the Terminal: the next races to jump, whatever the code. Close to each jump, the racing bot asks one thing of every runner: is a bookmaker's win price far enough ahead of Betfair?

Unlock what the bot sees
The free view shows Sportsbet and TAB. Terminal View, the whole Terminal read-only, is $25/month. Automated betting, which runs the racing bot, is priced in Discord.
- Betfair back and lay prices beside 40+ bookmakers
- EV overlays on the odds grid
- Price history (flucs) and closing lines
- With automated betting, Classic Racing sessions in your own accounts
- Every bet recorded, and settled from official racing results
How the racing bot decides
One comparison, made for every runner close to the jump, the same way for thoroughbreds, harness and greyhounds.
Watch races near the jump
Inside your look-ahead window, the session follows each race that passes your filters for race type, country and odds.
Read the bookmaker price
A session is one of your bookmaker accounts. For every runner in the race, it reads that bookmaker's win price.
Compare it with Betfair
It sets that price against the Betfair exchange price for the same runner. A promotion the account holds, such as a money-back saver, counts towards the value.
Bet, or leave it
Where the expected value clears your edge threshold, the session places a bet in your account, sized by your stake settings. Everywhere else it does nothing. Bets go on before the jump, never in-play.
A simple example, with illustrative prices
Say Betfair has a runner at 5.00, which implies about a 20% chance of winning, and your bookmaker offers 5.20. Over many bets like it, each dollar staked returns 5.20 × 0.20 = 1.04 on average: a positive expected value of about 4%. With the edge threshold at 3%, the session bets. At 5.10, about 2% ahead of Betfair, it passes.
Expected value is an average over many bets, not a forecast for the next race: that runner still loses about four times in five. A +EV bet can still lose, and short-run results vary.
It is a price comparison, not a form guide. The bot does not rate runners or pick winners; it looks for bookmaker prices that are ahead of the exchange, inside the limits you set.
Betting involves risk. Bookmakers can restrict or close accounts and void bets, automation can fail, prices move, and a positive expected value (+EV) bet can still lose. Promotions carry each bookmaker's own terms. There is no guarantee of profit. See responsible gambling for limits and support.
Thoroughbred racing
On the gallops, the session watches each race inside your look-ahead window, sets your bookmaker's win price for every runner against the Betfair price, and bets only where your edge threshold is met.
Country filters decide which meetings count, and the odds range keeps it away from prices you would rather not take.
Harness racing
As a harness racing betting bot, it runs the same comparison on the trots. It is the same strategy with the same controls, not a separate product.
Harness has its own switch in the race type filter, so a session can run harness alone, alongside the gallops, or not at all.
Greyhound racing
As a greyhound betting bot, it compares each bookmaker's win price on the dogs with the Betfair price, exactly as it does for horses.
Greyhounds have their own on and off switch, so you can run dogs only, horses only, or both. Bets settle automatically from official racing results, as they do for every code.
How it differs from a Betfair bot
Search for automated horse racing betting software and many results are Betfair exchange bots, which place back and lay orders on the exchange itself. Classic Racing works the other way round: it places bets in the bookmaker accounts you hold, and uses the Betfair price as the yardstick for whether a bookmaker's price is worth taking.
It is not form or ratings software either. Those tools help you choose runners; this one acts on prices, inside limits you set.
Promotions: only the ones your account already holds
Bookmakers issue promotions to accounts on their own terms. Classic Racing can use the ones your account actually holds, such as money-back savers, bonus bets and bet boosts, within each bookmaker's rules. It never creates, unlocks or claims an offer: if the bookmaker has not issued a token, no promo bet is placed. Promotions carry each bookmaker's terms, and the bookmaker decides whether a bet qualifies.
- Auto Scan Promos reads the offers on your account during the day.
- The Promos page lists offers across your accounts, with the expiry date each bookmaker states.
- Opt-in Discord warnings flag offers in their last 48 hours.
- Promo and bonus max stakes, a bonus-conversion threshold and a custom promo list decide which offers a session may use, and how much goes on.
How refund offers work, and how to estimate what one is worth, is covered in money back racing promos, explained. For bonus bets in particular, see bonus bet automation and the bonus bet converter.
The controls you set
Set once in the strategy, then applied to every race the session sees.
Look-ahead window
How long before each jump the session starts watching a race.
Race types and countries
Thoroughbreds, harness and greyhounds each on or off, and which countries' meetings count.
Odds range
A shortest and a longest price. Runners outside the range are skipped.
Edge threshold
How far a price has to be ahead of Betfair before a bet goes on. Higher means fewer bets.
Bonus conversion
The least a bonus bet must be worth against the exchange price before the session uses it, with an optional maximum that turns it into a band.
Stakes
Fixed, odds-banded or balance-based sizing with a minimum and maximum stake, plus separate max stakes for promo and bonus bets.
Custom promo list
A strict whitelist: set it, and the session uses only the promotions on your list.
Token stacking
Optional. Puts further bonus tokens on the same runner until your bonus max stake is reached.
Run windows
Several windows a day, so sessions work only when you want them to.
Profit and loss kill
Stops a session once it reaches the net profit or loss you set.
Accounts and computers
Which of your accounts run, and on which of your computers.
Start and stop
Start or stop any session from your dashboard, whenever you like.

Connect an account you hold
Add your own login for one bookmaker. That account becomes a session, and one session can run several strategies.
Attach Classic Racing
Give the strategy the settings above. The session applies them to every race it sees.
Start it on your computer
The bot runs on your own computer and logs in with the credentials you supplied. Inside the run windows it works unattended, as long as the bot is running.
Watch and compare
Five minutes before each Australian thoroughbred or harness race, the session starts watching and checks every runner's win price against Betfair.
Bet where the edge is met
A runner priced from 2.00 to 15.00 whose price is at least 3% ahead of Betfair gets a $20 bet in your account. A promo bet goes on only if the account holds a matching offer. Everything else is left alone.
Record, settle, stop
Each placement, price and result lands in your dashboard. Bets settle from the bookmaker's settled-bet list and official racing results, and the session stops at the end of its run window, or sooner at the $100 loss kill.
Bookmakers it works with
Classic Racing runs at Australian bookmakers that take racing bets, in accounts you already hold. B337 has session support for 100+ Australian bookmakers, including Sportsbet, TAB, Ladbrokes, Neds, PointsBet, bet365, Unibet, Betr, BetRight, Palmerbet and TABtouch. The comparison price comes from the Betfair exchange.
Support differs from bookmaker to bookmaker, and bookmaker terms may restrict automated betting. The bookmakers page shows what works where.
Bookmaker names are trade marks of their owners. B337 is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
Limits and risks
- Bookmakers can restrict or close accounts and void bets, and many restrict or prohibit automated betting in their terms. B337 cannot prevent that.
- Automation can fail or miss bets.
- Prices move. The edge a session saw can shrink or disappear before a bet is placed.
- A +EV bet can still lose, and short-run results vary. There is no guarantee of profit, and past results do not predict future ones.
- Promotions carry each bookmaker's terms, including expiry dates, and the bookmaker decides whether a bet qualifies.
- Your computer has to stay on, with the bot running, while sessions run.
- Whether automated betting is lawful where you are, and allowed under each bookmaker's terms, is yours to check.

Questions
Which bookmakers does the racing bot work with?
Australian bookmakers that take racing bets, in accounts you already hold, including Sportsbet, TAB, Ladbrokes, Neds and PointsBet. Support differs from bookmaker to bookmaker: the bookmakers page has the detail. The comparison price comes from the Betfair exchange.
Does it bet in-play?
No. Racing sessions place bets before the jump. There is no in-play automation.
Does it use AI?
No. There is no machine-learning model. It compares each bookmaker's win price with the Betfair price and applies the thresholds you set.
Does my computer need to stay on?
Yes. The bot runs on your own computer, so it has to be on, with the bot running, while sessions place bets. It runs on Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), macOS 11 or later on Apple Silicon (not Intel Macs), and Ubuntu 24.04 or Debian 13 and later, with 4GB of RAM and 500MB of free disk space.
Does it create or claim promotions?
No. It uses only offers the bookmaker has already issued to your account, within that bookmaker's rules. No token means no promo bet.
Can I run it on greyhounds or harness only?
Yes. Thoroughbreds, harness and greyhounds each switch on or off, so a session can run any mix of the three.
Can a bookmaker restrict my account?
Yes. Bookmakers can restrict or close accounts and void bets, and many restrict or prohibit automated betting in their terms, so read them before you connect an account. You are responsible for checking that betting automation is lawful where you are.
How do I stop it?
Stop any session from your dashboard at any time. Run windows limit when it works, and profit kill and loss kill stop a session on their own at the limits you set.
What does it cost?
A free account opens a limited view of the Terminal. Terminal View, the whole Terminal read-only, is $25/month and does not place bets. Automated betting, which runs the racing bot, is priced with the team in Discord, and the price, including any charges on top of the plan price, is confirmed before you pay. The pricing page has the details.
Is B337 a bookmaker?
No. B337 is software, not a bookmaker or wagering service provider. It does not take bets or hold betting funds: bets are placed in your own accounts, and your money stays with your bookmakers.
Can it guarantee a profit?
No. A +EV bet can still lose, short-run results vary, bookmakers can restrict accounts, and past results do not predict future ones.
