Responsible gambling
B337 is software for adults aged 18 and over. Betting can cause harm, and automation makes it possible to bet far more, far faster, than by hand. This page covers where to get free help, how to exclude yourself from betting, and how to stop or remove B337 sessions and your B337 account.

Signs gambling may be causing harm
Gambling harm often builds slowly and is easy to explain away. Common signs include:
- spending more money or time on betting than you meant to
- betting more, or more often, to try to recover money you have lost
- borrowing money, using money meant for bills, or selling things to keep betting
- hiding your betting from the people close to you
- feeling anxious, guilty or irritable about betting, or when you try to cut back
- betting to escape stress, boredom or a low mood
- arguments about betting, or betting getting in the way of work, study, sleep or family
- raising a maximum stake, or switching off a loss limit, after a losing run
- trying to cut back and not managing to.
If any of these sound familiar, call 1800 858 858 or visit gamblinghelponline.org.au. The website also has self-help information you can read in your own time, and support for the people around you.
Exclude yourself with BetStop
BetStop, the National Self-Exclusion Register, is “a safe and free Australian Government initiative to block yourself from all licensed Australian online and phone gambling providers”. You register once at betstop.gov.au and it applies to all of those providers at the same time, so you do not have to contact each bookmaker yourself.
You choose how long the exclusion lasts, and it can be permanent. BetStop covers online and phone betting, not betting in person at a venue. The helpline on 1800 858 858 can explain the venue exclusion options in your state or territory.
If you register, do not use B337 to bet. Stop your sessions and ask us to close your B337 account, and we will.
Set limits with your bookmakers
B337 is software, not a bookmaker. It does not take bets or hold your betting funds. Your balance stays in your own bookmaker accounts, sessions bet from those balances, and the limits on each account are set with that bookmaker, not in B337. Look in your account settings, usually under responsible gambling, or ask the bookmaker's support team for:
- a deposit limit: a cap on how much you can deposit over a period you choose. Lowering a limit usually applies straight away, while raising one usually has a waiting period
- a break or a self-exclusion with that bookmaker, which pauses or closes the account
- activity statements and transaction history: the bookmaker's own record of what you have deposited, won and lost.
Set a limit at every bookmaker you use: a limit at one does not apply at another. Sessions can only bet with what is in your accounts, so a deposit limit also caps how much new money automation can put at risk.
How to stop or limit B337
These are ordinary settings in your B337 account. They help keep automation inside limits you choose, but they are software, not a guarantee, so set your bookmaker deposit limits first.
Stop a session
Stop any session at any time from the Sessions page. If B337 says the command did not reach your computer, stop the bot on that computer instead. Stopping does not cancel bets already placed: they stay with the bookmaker and settle as normal.
Stop the bot on a computer
Sessions run on your own computer and need the bot running there. In the desktop app, use Stop bot on the This PC page: closing the app window only hides it to the tray, and the bot keeps running. With the classic installer, close the bot's terminal window. Shutting the computer down stops it too.
Run windows
Give a session daily start and stop times, so it only runs during the hours you choose.
Stake caps
Set a minimum and maximum stake for each strategy. Copy betting adds a maximum stake per bet, with a built-in ceiling of 10% of your bankroll, and a maximum liability across open bets: a tip that would go over it is skipped.
Profit-kill and loss-kill (racing sessions)
Optional settings that stop a racing session once its net profit or loss reaches a figure you set. They stop new bets only, so bets already running can take the final result past your figure.
Remove sessions and logins
Delete any session you no longer want. Removing a bookmaker account on the Accounts page also deletes every session that uses it. It does not close the account with the bookmaker.
Closing your B337 account
Ask us to close your B337 account at any time and we will. Use the contact page, or email support@b337.bet to close it and have your data deleted: we confirm within 30 days and remove bookmaker credentials first (see the privacy policy). If you pay for a plan, cancel it as well. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for (see the terms).
Betting involves risk and there is no guarantee of profit. Bookmakers can restrict or close accounts and void bets, automation can fail, prices move, and a positive expected value (+EV) bet can still lose. B337's stops and limits are software too: a command can fail to reach your computer or act late, so treat them as a backup to the limits your bookmaker enforces.
Keeping automation in check
Automation keeps betting for as long as it is set to, so decide your limits before a session starts, not during a run.
- Decide what you can afford to lose, and stop there.
- Set a deposit limit at each bookmaker, then a maximum stake, and on racing sessions a loss-kill, that sit well inside it.
- Use run windows, so sessions only run when you have chosen to bet.
- Check your bookmaker's activity statements as well as the B337 dashboard. The bookmaker's record is the official one.
- Take regular breaks, and do not bet when you are stressed, upset, tired or drinking.
- Never bet with money meant for rent, bills or debts.
Family, friends and under 18s
Gambling harm reaches the people around a punter too. Gambling Help Online and the 1800 858 858 helpline support family members and friends as well as people who gamble.
B337 is only for adults aged 18 and over, and signup asks for your date of birth. Never let anyone under 18 use your B337 account or your bookmaker accounts, and do not leave logins saved on a shared device. Blocking software can also stop gambling sites and apps opening on a family computer or phone.
If you think someone under 18, or someone who has self-excluded, is using B337, please contact us.
