    event_id

    One id per real-world event, shared by every book that lists it.

    What it is

    An event_id names one real-world event, the same for every book that lists it. That is what lets one/odds call return every book's price for one game.

    Rules

    • Opaque. It may look readable, but store it and send it back verbatim. Never build or parse one.
    • Get it from /events; use it on /odds and in a WebSocket subscribe.
    • It stays the same after the event finishes: /events lists it in a date window and /odds and /history keep answering. A withdrawn or unknown event answers 404 unknown_event (not charged).
