Sessions

Sessions are the foundation of the API. An active session represents a connection to a betting site and is required before you can place bets.

What is a Session?

A session is an active connection to a specific betting site (e.g., TAB, Sportsbet). The API drives open sessions: a session with no strategy attached, which you manage under Sessions → Open in the dashboard. Sessions:

• Maintain authentication state with the betting site
• Enable bet placement operations
• Are managed by the client application
• Can be reused for multiple bets
• Must be active before placing bets

Getting Active Sessions

To retrieve all active sessions for your account, send a POST request to /api/session_ids:

Session Status

Sessions can have the following statuses:

• active - Session is ready to accept bets
• inactive - Session is not currently active

Supported Sites for Racing

The following bookmaker groups are supported for racing betting:

• Amuse - 8+ brands including BetDeluxe, BetNation, BigBet, Surge, PulseBet, Noisy, and more
• PuntersTech - 8 brands including MintBet, BlondeBet, BetFocus, VinBet, TradieBet, LightningBet, and more
• PointsBet - PointsBet
• Betr - Betr
• BetRight - BetRight
• PlayUp - PlayUp
• PalmerBet - PalmerBet

Supported Sites for SGM/Basketball

Currently, only TAB is supported for Same Game Multi (SGM) and basketball betting.

Best Practices

1. Check Session Status - Always verify sessions are active before placing bets
2. Handle Disconnections - Implement retry logic for disconnected sessions
3. Error Handling - Always check session status before placing bets
