What is this API?

This betting platform API enables developers to programmatically place bets on horse racing, greyhound racing, and harness racing events. The API provides a reliable, scalable interface for automated betting systems and integrations.

This documentation is designed for:

High-Level Workflow

The API follows a simple workflow:

1. Authenticate - Obtain an API key and authenticate your requests with X-API-Key header
2. Get Active Sessions - Retrieve active sessions from your client application
3. Place Bet - Submit betting requests with race/sports details and target prices
4. Monitor Status - Track bet status through responses and polling
5. Handle Results - Process settled bets and manage outcomes

Supported Bet Types

Racing Betting

• Single bets - Win, place, etc.

All racing sites are supported (60+ bookmakers).

Sports Betting

• Single bets - Head-to-head, line/handicap, totals, player props, futures
• Same Game Multi (SGM) - Multiple legs on one game (pricing supported where the bookie exposes it server-side)
• Pick-Your-Own-Line - Custom handicap / total lines on Sportsbet SGM legs

Supported bookmakers: TAB, Sportsbet, PointsBet, Ladbrokes, Neds, BetRight, Betr, all Blackstream brands (betdeluxe / betnation / bigbet / mightybet / yesbet / surge / pulsebet / noisy / betjet / betexpress), and all Apollo/BetMakers brands (crownbet / baggybet / bet66 / betgold / etc). Key Concepts

Active Sessions

The API uses a session-based architecture. Before placing bets, you must have an active open session. An open session is a session with no strategy attached; it represents a connection to the betting platform and can be reused for multiple bets.

Racing Betting

The API supports racing betting where you specify:

• Race type (horses, greys, harness)
• Race details (name, number)
• Runner selection
• Target price
• Stake amount

Idempotency

All bet placement requests support idempotency keys, ensuring that duplicate requests are safely handled and won't result in duplicate bets.
